The Container Testing Laboratory includes both low- and high-humidity conditioning rooms, a transit simulator (4000 lb.), an incline-impact tester (4000 lb.), a drop tester (4000 lb.), and a compression tester with a capacity of 50,000 pounds.
Ink Blending Lab

Longview's fully- automated and computer-controlled Ink Dispensing System provides high-speed, one-shot dispensing of fluid ink colors from a central station. The result is exact reproduction of ink formulas with no mistakes.

An in-house Ink Blending Lab enables our presses to continue work and not worry about waiting for ink from an outside vendor. The Blending Lab also ensures that ink is mixed accurately and quickly.

Thousands of ink formulas are stored in our system's memory for quick recall and can be shared between our plants. We also provide 'draw-downs' or ink swatches on the proper substrate for customer approval before press runs.
