Wrapping and Bag Papers
Longview Fibre is one of the largest manufacturers of paper grades that are collectively considered as wrapping and bag paper. A variety of grades are produced with different surface characteristics and high percentages of recycled fibers. These paper grades are made in a variety of basis weights to meet the demands of the final product. The recycled content of the paper bags has made them the preferred package by many consumers.
Several converters have designed machines to utilize natural kraft paper for wrapping and packaging products. In some of these applications the paper is formed into a cushion for breakable items. This provides a packaging product that is both serviceable and recyclable.
